Daniel Harvey is the principal physiotherapist and director of Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy. He is a proud Westie, who has lived in West Auckland for over 35 years and attended local schools.
Daniel has developed expertise in shoulder conditions and the diagnosis of shoulder pain was the subject for his Masters thesis. He has strong links with Auckland’s leading Orthopaedic, Medical and Pain Specialists and has developed a reputation for producing excellent post-surgical and chronic pain rehabilitation outcomes. Daniel is the former President of the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapy Association, a current Council member on the New Zealand Pain Society Council and an executive committee member of the Occupational Health Physiotherapy Group. He is one of eight Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Specialists in New Zealand.
He is currently working towards his PhD at AUT University.
Qualifications: Master of Health Science via Thesis (Honours), Master of Health Practice (Distinction) in Rehabilitation, Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy), Post Graduate Diploma of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy), Post Graduate Certificate of Health Science (Western Acupuncture).
